3-6 Months

As your baby reaches the halfway mark of their first year, they won't be considered a newborn anymore. They’ll start moving around with more purpose, and their vision and speech skills will keep growing.

Here are some exciting things you can expect your little one to be doing during this period:

1. Your baby will start smiling more at people they see.

2. They’ll begin immitating sounds they hear around them.

3. They’ll use different cries to express different feelings, for example, hunger cries will be different from pain cries.

4. Your little one will be able to follow objects with their eyes.

5. They’ll start copying expressions they see on other people’s faces.

6. They’ll reach out and grab objects with just one hand and manipulate toys with their hands.

7. Rolling from tummy to back, sitting up with support and having good head control will become easier for them.

8. Your baby will start making sounds in response to conversations and babbling sounds that resemble a real language.

9. They’ll be able to push up on their elbows or forearms when on their tummy.

10. They start showing interest in some toys and objects they find comfort in over others. Do you notice any particular toys or objects that your baby seems to prefer?

It's incredible to see how much your baby is growing. Enjoy these precious moments together😊👶🏾
